Job Summary
Coach and motivate the team on day-to-day shipping, picking, receiving, or inventory control activities while performing approximately 25% of the area distribution team member duties. Ensure all team members are fully trained using preferred methods, conduct procedural audits and behavioral observations, and investigate inventory discrepancies regarding quantity, product, or location. Partner with Support Coordinators to resolve system inaccuracies and recommend preventive measures. Effectively communicate progress against daily volume, assign work, and adjust manpower throughout the shift to optimize hours and ensure timely order processing. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and OSHA regulations while assisting with special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Solid basic computer skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of distribution processes
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide confident communications at all levels
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow team members
- Ability to read and interpret a variety of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions with minimal instructions
