Warehouse Team Lead

Job Summary
Coordinate inbound shipments, internally manufactured components, and inventory transactions to support efficient warehouse operations. Inspect goods, confirm material numbers and quantities, and process purchase order receipts in SAP. Resolve receiving discrepancies, vendor concerns, and inventory variances by troubleshooting purchase order issues and investigating problem parts. Operate Cherry Picker and other warehouse equipment to safely move parts to racks while adhering to OHSA and MULTIVAC safety protocols. Monitor backlog of received materials, complete control picks, and generate quality notifications for defects. Provide overage reporting to the Procurement Department and assist with day planning based on daily shipping reports. No supervisory responsibilities. High school diploma and two years of shipping/receiving experience required; SAP and forklift certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years of shipping/receiving or manufacturing related experience
- Associate's degree
- Previous exposure to shipping systems for both domestic and international packages
- Experience with RF Scanning operations
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide
- Knowledge of the Metric measuring system
- Experience using inventory and order processing software
- Ability to get forklift certified
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and talk or hear
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- No travel
- Normal business hours are 8:00am to 7:00pm
- Expected schedule for this role is 9:00am to 6:00pm
- Schedule needs to be flexible to accommodate internal and external customer schedules
