Job Summary
Coordinate receiving, picking, packing, shipping, put-away, and inventory activities while leading and assisting warehouse associates with daily assignments. Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and work performance to ensure orders are picked, packed, and prepared accurately and on schedule. Assign tasks and distribute workload throughout the shift, train new and existing employees, and maintain accurate inventory and product organization. Assist with loading and unloading shipments, enforce safety policies, and ensure work areas remain clean and safe. This role supports the daily operations of the Bayonne, NJ distribution facility for Bookazine.
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Previous Team Lead, Lead Associate, Supervisor, or senior warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory.
- Ability to lead by example and effectively communicate with a team.
