Job Summary
Lead warehouse team in Kansas City overseeing receiving, inspection, inventory control, and storage of furniture and home furnishings; ensure freight is accurately received, processed, and staged for delivery; maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards; support and guide warehouse personnel to drive operational efficiency; coordinate with office staff, drivers, and management; identify and implement process improvements; maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records; opportunity to grow with a fast-growing white glove delivery company.
Required Qualifications
- Previous furniture, warehousing, logistics, or distribution experience required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move furniture safely
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to lead by example
