Job Summary
Lead responsibilities for the Warehouse Team Lead on the 1st shift, including assigning daily workloads, coaching and training associates, ensuring inbound/outbound shipments are loaded/unloaded without damage, ensuring inventory accuracy via database entry and RF guns, and putting inventory away in correct locations. Oversees workflow, ensures quality checks at key stages, assists the Supervisor with workload planning and overtime, and drives process improvement and safety compliance in a warehouse environment. Requires supervisory abilities, strong communication, and forklift proficiency, with a focus on meeting daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and shipping schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Forklift certification training (for drivers)
- At least one-year previous experience in a comparable position
