Job Summary
Receive, handle, and inventory control raw materials at Genezen's Indiana facility, including loading/unloading dock areas, documenting shipments, storing items, and preparing outbound materials. Operate and maintain SISPQ standards for cGMP consumables and equipment throughout the supply chain. Verify packaging against SOPs, execute work orders for picking and staging, and cycle-count inventory to ensure FIFO adherence. Partner with Quality and Purchasing to resolve supply chain issues, assist other departments with inventory support, and maintain a safe workspace. Track order acknowledgments, confirm vendor certifications, and ensure labeling accuracy. Maintain compliance with all active SOPs and cGMP requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1 year of experience with cGMP
- 2+ years of Shipping/Receiving related functions in a cGMP environment
- 1 year of stand-up fork-lift experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Criminal background check
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry and cGMP
- Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, including following instructions and procedures (SOPs, cGMP)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong focus on customer service
- Good documentation skills
- Adaptability required as work schedule may change based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Supply Chain or related field
- Previous experience in materials management / ERP software
- Prior pharmaceutical or food manufacturing/processing experience
- Skilled in Excel, including data entry, formatting, and basic analysis
