Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
Facilitate day-to-day warehouse operations, managing incoming goods delivery and ensuring all building materials reach jobs in line with the construction schedule. Track orders to meet required timeframes and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve stock ordering issues. Identify and manage supplier risks while implementing cost mitigation strategies and developing procurement procedures. Compile business insight reports and maintain a clean, safe facility environment. Complete prep moves for buildings leaving the Mulwala facility in conjunction with the Construction Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Current Driver's licence
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Current high risk work forklift licence
- Certificate in Supply Chains Operations (Warehouse Operations)
- Prior experience in a warehouse role
- Excellent computer literacy and Microsoft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Ability to follow and drive for procedure improvements & efficiencies
- A positive and solution driven mindset
- Strong work ethic and the willingness to help others and work within a team
- Personal pride in the quality of your work and strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet required deadlines
- A good understanding of the building/manufacturing industry
- Physically fit and able to perform the physical requirements of the role
- The successful applicant will need to undergo a Police Check and Drug & Alcohol screen
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate in Supply Chains Operations (Warehouse Operations) advantageous
- Experience with Datapel
