Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods. Monitor truck loading and unloading to ensure proper handling and documentation, while supervising material handlers to support manufacturing cells. Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and adjustments, and oversee safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers. Develop standard operating procedures to optimize workflow and train shipping and receiving staff on safety and continuous improvement. Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to ensure efficient material flow.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role
- Knowledge of using an ERP system
- basic computer skills
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs
- operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc)
- Knowledge of safety regulations
