Job Summary
Supervise warehouse associates operating forklifts and material handling equipment; schedule labor resources to meet customer requirements across shifts; maintain a safe, accident-free environment with accurate inventory; oversee order pulling, storage of sheets of high-pressure laminate, packing, palletizing, and loading; minimize breakage and shipping errors; ensure timely shipment and put-away; plan daily warehouse activities in ERP/WMS systems and on the warehouse floor, and supervise daily cycle counts; troubleshoot inventory accuracy issues; train employees on standardized procedures including cross-training within the facility; bilingual skills helpful for English/Spanish/Creole; requires related degree and 3-5 years supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Related degree
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse
- Forklift experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP and inventory systems
- Experience with Warehouse Management and ERP systems (WMS/MRP)
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
