Job Summary
Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receipt, documentation, storage, and distribution of equipment and supplies. Maintain inventory accuracy, ensure OSHA safety standards are met, and organize storage areas to improve efficiency. Train, evaluate, and assign workloads to warehouse employees while implementing warehousing systems and technologies to drive process improvements. Schedule and track commercial projects, reconcile receiving and delivery reports, and collaborate with sales teams to support shipment preparation. Act as a leadership example for all departments and crews.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of Transportation/Warehousing leadership experience
- Strong project management, supervisory, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of kitting, receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse operations
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Proven communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills, including root cause analysis
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Suite and data entry systems
- Ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
- Physical stamina and the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work long hours on one's feet and regularly walk, bend, stoop, climb, and reach
