Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, lead and develop team members, and ensure inventory accuracy through receiving, storage, and shipping processes. Organize storage locations, monitor employee productivity, and determine staffing levels to assign workloads efficiently. Maintain accurate documentation, analyze performance metrics, and recommend process improvements while enforcing safety policies and operating forklifts in compliance with OSHA regulations. Work directly with customers to resolve operational concerns and coordinate activities with other departments for efficient workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, or in a warehouse leadership role
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and team-building abilities
- Experience managing inventory, cycle counts, auditing, forecasting, and inventory planning
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of logistics, shipping procedures, freight carriers, and distribution operations
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and warehouse compliance standards
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Business math skills and the ability to work with product numbers and alphanumeric codes
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards
