Job Summary
Direct supervision of warehouse operations and shipping office personnel, ensuring compliance with policies and standard operating procedures. Manage Over, Short, and Damaged (OS&D) claims, maintain accurate documentation for accessorial charges, and oversee employee performance including disciplinary actions as needed. Address and resolve issues involving customers, carriers, and drivers while monitoring operations to align with benchmarking standards. Troubleshoot system-related issues, participate in incident investigations, and contribute to hiring decisions through feedback. Provide coverage for other supervisors during scheduled time off and perform additional duties as assigned. Shift runs Sunday through Wednesday, 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Pay is $60,000–$70,000.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in basic computer operations
- Fundamental math skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Capable of both following and providing clear, effective instructions
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable interacting with and supporting various levels of management
- Experience operating forklifts
- Experience operating pallet jacks
- Prior leadership experience in a warehouse setting preferred
- Familiarity with RF-controlled inventory systems
- Experience handling food products is a plus
