Job Summary
Oversees daily operations of SEARHC’s PAR Inventory Management system in Lawson, ensuring timely scanning and delivery of supplies to PAR locations; maintains PAR inventory levels with min/max and reorder points; manages cycle counts and valuation reporting; applies LEAN principles to reduce waste and improve cycle time; coordinates with clinical staff on backorders and substitutes; travels to outlying clinics to assess inventories; prepares monthly benchmark reports; directs warehouse staff, including hiring, performance appraisals, and scheduling; move items up to 500 pounds; supports department process improvements to ensure timely supply delivery across the SEARHC Consortium.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or related discipline
- six years of experience in Purchasing and Inventory Control Systems in a Healthcare setting (can be substituted for bachelor's degree)
- experience using Lawson or inventory control/PAR management solutions preferred
- knowledge of accounting, purchasing, or inventory ERP systems
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- supervisory experience
