Job Summary
Lead daily warehouse operations by assigning workloads, optimizing staffing and equipment utilization, and managing labor costs to meet production goals. Foster a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing safety policies, promoting safe operation of forklifts and warehouse equipment, and ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards. Partner with Production, Plant, Safety, and Quality leadership to improve operational efficiency, maintain product quality, and ensure production meets established specifications. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing operational performance, identifying process enhancements, and encouraging employee participation in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee inventory accuracy, receiving transactions, and warehouse organization to maintain efficient material flow, inventory integrity, and clean, organized storage areas. Provide day-to-day leadership by communicating expectations, developing team members, and supporting the implementation and enforcement of facility policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, material handling, and forklift safety
- Experience driving operational excellence through process improvement, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across production, quality, safety, and operations teams
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions
- Must reside in the area or be willing to commute to Turlock, California
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without the need for employment visa sponsorship
