Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, staging, loading, shipping, and inventory movement while assigning work and monitoring workflow to ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Provide direct direction to employees, enforce safety rules and PPE requirements, and report incidents, equipment issues, or attendance concerns to management. Maintain a clean, organized environment and communicate operational updates between shifts and departments. Assist with basic documentation and attendance tracking. This role requires physical ability to lift, bend, and move throughout the facility, with a schedule that may include overtime, evenings, or weekends. Starting pay is $29.00+ per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, push, pull, and move throughout the warehouse as needed
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
- Must follow all safety requirements, including PPE and equipment procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, distribution, lumber, or building products experience preferred
- Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to give clear direction and communicate professionally
- Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and follow-through
- Basic computer and forklift/material handling equipment experience preferred
