Job Summary
Lead shipping team in execution of daily operations, including improving efficiency of tasks and management of warehouse resources. Coordinate daily activities of forklift operators and utilize team and resources to manage loading and unloading of trucks. Check-in drivers, verify correct load numbers, print bills of lading, and ensure adherence to organizational safety protocols with daily safety meetings. Analyze data to optimize resource use and assist in training new hires while periodically reporting progress to the supervisor. Assist with physical inventory of raw materials or finished goods to ensure accuracy. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 3:00pm, with Saturdays as needed, and occasionally work overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time (12 hours minimum)
- Ability to work in extreme environmental temperatures
- Ability to work overtime and occasionally do so on short notice
- Casual manufacturing environment; Comfortable attire appropriate for manual labor environment

- Bachelor's degree or 2 years relevant work experience
