Job Summary
Inbound Supervisor leads a team of fulfilment center specialists to manage inbound operations, drive safety initiatives, maximize productivity and quality, ensure the fulfillment center is organized and efficient, and oversee tasks such as scheduling LTL deliveries, offloading and organizing freight, preparing deliveries for receivers, pulling and sorting receipts, coordinating shuttle receipts, and supervising driver assignments and item transfers between distribution centers. The role involves supporting team members with attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training, communicating staffing plans to meet daily objectives, troubleshooting operational problems, prioritizing customer orders for on-time shipping, and planning daily housekeeping to maintain a clean work environment. It also emphasizes project and process improvements, leadership to develop associates, and the ability to move around for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Fluency in English (written and verbal) and strong communication skills are required.
