Job Summary
The role supervises and coordinates warehouse activities including receiving, storage, shipping, inventory control, and associated administrative systems to support quality, cost, and customer service. Responsibilities include directing warehouse operations, supervising staff and contract personnel, training, promoting safety practices, ensuring sanitation and food safety standards, maintaining records, and optimizing uptime by monitoring LTW, IWS, and DCS systems. The position may involve operating or overseeing forklift operations and assisting with unloading/loading as needed, with a focus on compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Strong emphasis on leadership, problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and collaboration with operators and maintenance personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years related experience and/or training
- Must obtain and maintain annual Authorized Fall Protection Certification
- Must obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification
- Must obtain and maintain a Forklift Certification
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
