Job Summary
Supervise all associates by recruiting, training, evaluating, and monitoring their activities, performance, and safety. Coach staff on productivity pace and methods, providing timely feedback to encourage good performance and safe work methods. Facilitate workflow improvements by evaluating system interactions and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures. Plan and prioritize daily workload for loading and unloading containers to meet service goals and productivity standards. Act as the safety officer by reporting unsafe acts or accidents, while updating container statuses to maintain dock flow. Address team concerns and resolve issues promptly. Requires PC skills, ability to analyze business information, and physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds in a moderate-noise environment ranging from 30-65 degrees Fahrenheit.
Required Qualifications
- PC skills - Microsoft Office
- Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret general business information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task on a regular basis
- Strong sense of urgency and time management to meet deadlines
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
