Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including labor management, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. Drive key business initiatives for productivity, quality, and safety by developing a daily scorecard tracking pieces handled, OSHA recordable rates, shipment times, zero ships, and damages. Train, coach, and support 20-30 warehouse operators to meet scorecard metrics while establishing clear roles and responsibilities. Ensure the warehouse area remains safe and hazard-free by adhering to written policies and procedures. Address complaints and resolve problems as they arise.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of management/warehouse operations experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to train, supervise and motivate team members
- Able to set high expectations and hold others accountable for results
- Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
