Job Summary
Oversee purchasing and supply operations for the facility, including planning and supervising the preparation of specifications for commodities and equipment, preparing purchase orders, coordinating emergency and spot requisitions, inspecting incoming shipments, maintaining inventory controls, and coordinating receipt, storage, and issue of warehouse items. Supervise inmates in the property area, provide training on stock handling and warehousing procedures, and model appropriate behaviors while ensuring safety and compliance with ACA standards, MTC directives, and MDOC policies. Strong focus on logistics, procurement, inventory management, and staff development to support site operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years experience in fire and safety field
- One year of supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license in Mississippi or Louisiana with acceptable driving record
