Job Summary
Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operations, including personnel management, inventory control, and cycle counts. Manage loading and unloading of exterior building products like siding and windows, while coordinating shipments for on-time, accurate deliveries. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to keep the warehouse clean and orderly. Verify order accuracy for picked items and received shipments. This role requires 3+ years of material-handling experience, forlift certification, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. The position is hourly, paid between $25-$28, and involves working alongside associates under tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of previous material-handling experience
- Ability and willingness to lift boxes and specific building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
- Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
- High integrity, high energy, and a positive attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Prior warehouse management experience (preferred)
- Forklift certification and experience driving a box truck (preferred)
- Ability to lead a team and/or work one-on-one with our customers
- Strong customer service skills
