Job Summary
Warehouse Supervisor role combines traditional warehouse supervision with vocational rehabilitation responsibilities. Oversees day-to-day warehouse activities (receiving, storing, sorting, picking, dispatching), maintains inventory levels, enforces safety standards, and coaches staff. Conducts monthly safety meetings and reports KPIs to management. Plans and coordinates training programs for participants in vocational rehabilitation, provides guidance and support to help participants develop employable skills, and collaborates with public/private organizations to create employment opportunities while ensuring compliance with federal and state vocational rehabilitation regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management, including inventory control, staff supervision, and operational oversight
- Knowledge of vocational rehabilitation principles, training methods, and employment support for individuals with disabilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage both warehouse staff and program participants
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing operational and program needs
- Familiarity with safety regulations, warehouse management systems, and productivity tracking tools
