Job Summary
Manage receipt, storage, and distribution of finished goods and raw materials while supervising Shipping & Receiving Clerks, Packaging Associates, and all warehouse personnel. Direct daily tasks, prioritize workflow, and assign shifts to team members. Ensure accurate order picking, packing, and labeling by reviewing open order reports and utilizing ERP systems to maintain on-time delivery. Lead physical inventory counts, perform cycle counts, and address root causes of mis-shipments and transactional errors. Maintain employee records, coordinate training, and enforce safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- associate degree preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in shipping and warehousing
- direct supervision of at least ten (10) associates
- knowledgeable of accepted warehousing methods and procedures in handling, storing, loading/unloading material and inventory methods and procedures
- Computer proficient
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Satisfactorily pass in-company forklift driver training program

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, other departments, truck drivers, and trucking firm representatives
- Highly motivated, well-organized, good problem-solving skills, effective as a team builder and able to coordinate multi and changing priorities
