WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including staffing, inventory movement, and product transfers to meet delivery expectations. Manage staff duties, approve hours and PTO via Kronos, and build morale through leadership, training, and skill development. Conduct cycle counts, audit inventory, and process transactions while maintaining accurate records and minimizing dead stock. Ensure safe equipment use by supervising forklift and truck inspections, repairing malfunctions, and enforcing safety protocols and regulations. Communicate with departments to facilitate safe shipments and implement continuous improvement processes. Operate hand and power equipment for material handling, load/unload trucks as needed, and assist with lifting. Maintain ample inventory levels and enforce company policies to ensure compliance with work procedures and security standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years in a warehouse or shipping environment
- 5 plus years in a leadership role
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- Proven leadership, coaching / mentoring, employee development and performance management skills
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse/inventory management
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to effectively delegate tasks
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to apply sound judgment
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook & Excel, Mincron and a Scanner
- Proven customer service experience with high level of customer satisfaction; and positive relationship management skills
- High quality customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult customers in a positive manner
- Ability to safely operate a forklift with a valid forklift operators certification
- Ability to keep the warehouse organized, well stocked and free from any safety or security hazards
- Ability to perform duties in a safe manner as well as follow safety protocols and regulations
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
