Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping, secure storage locations, and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations through regular inspections. Manage inventory processes to minimize discrepancies, monitor expenses against the warehouse budget, and resolve issues such as damaged goods or customer complaints. Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff while collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and sales teams to optimize productivity and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Supply chain operations, Logistics or Warehousing
- Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment
- Proven experience in warehouse operations
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of warehouse personnel
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements within a warehouse environment
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, vendors, and customers
Desired Qualifications
- Medium rigid licence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with inventory management software
