Job Summary
Warehouse Supervisor leads daily warehouse operations, overseeing outbound/inbound shipments, inventory control, and staff development. Responsibilities include directing cross-functional coordination to meet production and shipping goals; identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements for productivity and accuracy; ensuring safety compliance; supervising cycle counts and inventory reconciliation; maintaining documentation and reports; and coordinating special projects. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills, proficiency with WMS and office software, and ability to communicate in English and Spanish. Forklift operation experience is preferred. The position involves travel up to 10% and working in varied outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 4 years experience with 2 years supervising personnel in warehouse operations
- Experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
- Forklift certification preferred (not mandatory)
- Knowledge of safety procedures for handling and receiving goods
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operating procedures
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting over 45 pounds
- Valid Texas Driver License and good driving record
