Job Summary
Warehouse Supervisor II oversees timely receipt, stocking, order filling, and shipment of merchandise in a Dollar General distribution environment; duties include reviewing WMS reports, staffing planning with the Inbound/Outbound Manager, leading staff development, conducting performance reviews, and enforcing safety programs. Requires supervisory experience in a distribution/ DC setting, knowledge of inventory accounting, proficiency with WMS and payroll/personnel systems (KRONOS), and strong communication skills for interviewing and conflict resolution. Responsibilities emphasize production planning, quality reporting, and employee guidance in a fast-paced DC. The role is based in Blair, Nebraska and involves in-person supervision of warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of supervisory experience
- Automated distribution center experience preferred
- Knowledge of inventory accounting
- Strong attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Computer skills: warehouse management systems, Word, Excel, and payroll/personnel systems such as KRONOS
