Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling while supervising personnel across these functions. Train and onboard new employees, coach staff on performance expectations, and enforce safety standards through orientation, hazard identification, and accident investigation. Coordinate daily logistics to ensure accurate movement of materials, monitor picking orders, and maintain precise logs for raw materials and finished goods. Verify equipment functionality, operate forklifts safely, and partner with Production, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to optimize storage and support timely order fulfillment. Implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and all regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes
- Experience with WMS, ERP, or computerized inventory systems
- Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, food safety, and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‐paced, cross‐functional environment
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
