Warehouse Supervisor

Manage receiving and shipping operations at the Janesville, Wisconsin distribution center, directing daily activities for 20-30 associates while overseeing hiring, training, coaching, and discipline. Ensure inventory accuracy through asset control, physical cycle counts, and continuous improvement projects aligned with Lean principles. Direct cross-functional interfaces with Purchasing, Customer Service, Payroll, Human Resources, and Quality Control to maintain service criteria and cost control. Recruit and develop staff using analytics to support long-term staffing proposals, while evaluating associates for performance appraisals, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Enforce safety standards by training on OSHA, Grainger, and Imperial protocols, addressing unsafe conditions immediately, and scheduling preventative maintenance. Process labor and payroll records, confirm daily shipped orders, and recommend capital investments for warehouse space and material handling equipment. Work Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM with no weekends or holidays.
