Job Summary
Warehouse Supervisor for a 2nd shift (5PM-5AM, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays) responsible for coordinating and directing all warehouse activity inside the manufacturing facility to maximize efficiency and ensure quality. Supervises, mentors, and trains hourly warehouse staff; assists Warehouse Manager with training, efficiency improvements, data evaluation, equipment/people utilization, and process optimization. Prioritizes workload and performance; drives continuous improvement and enforces safety, PPE, OSHA, GMP, SOP, SQF, and other regulatory requirements. Collaborates with leadership and other functional departments to meet safety, service, cost, and people goals; maintains a clean, safe work area and fosters positive, productive relationships. Requires strong leadership, attention to detail, planning, data interpretation, analytical thinking, and effective communication; willingness to work weekends/holidays and varying shifts; capable of working in a wet/humid environment with exposure to allergens. Education: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or Associate’s degree required; Supervisory experience 2+ years; Lean experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; otherwise Associate’s Degree required
- 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing warehouse environment
- LEAN manufacturing principles preferred
- Must exhibit strong leadership skills and ability to train, mentor, and develop team members
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good planning and priority setting skills
- Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and record data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
- Able to stand/walk/kneel/reach/climb/pull/bend; able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 100+ pounds occasionally
- English primary language; bilingual skills may be beneficial
