Job Summary
Train production personnel to perform work assignments safely and efficiently while maintaining good employee relations through coaching and consistent application of employee relations policies. Submit requisitions for operating personnel to meet established goals and facilitate employee team operations. Review and coach employees in accordance with plant goals and arrange for proper maintenance of machines and equipment. This role requires the ability to climb or balance, regularly lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. A minimum of two years of college is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and three to five years of manufacturing experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
- Excel Spreadsheets and Word Processing software
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- The ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Math
- Minimum of 2 years of college
- Bachelor's degree preferred
