Job Summary
Oversee warehouse operations focusing on receiving and inventory control. Responsibilities include coordinating for the NY main office receiving schedule, performing receiving duties and quality checks, maintaining a clean and safe work area, training and mentoring warehouse personnel, coordinating add-ons with customer service, liaising with maintenance for equipment repairs, updating the ERP with returns and damages, delivering daily WMS training, participating in the Hiring Committee to recommend inventory-focused hires, providing onboarding training for new hires, enforcing safety protocols, and managing daily dock operations to ensure accurate outbound shipments. Requires strong communication, teamwork, independent judgment in inventory matters, and proficiency with warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, RF scanners) and WMS/ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in a leadership role
- 2 years Inventory Experience / 2 years receiving experience.
- Ability to operate Warehouse Equipment; pallet jack; forklift; RF Scanner.
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English to effectively communicate, follow written instructions, complete documentation, and ensure safety and accuracy in daily operations
