Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
Direct and oversee warehouse operations for the store network, including supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators; schedule daily warehouse personnel to ensure efficient shipping and receiving; manage inventory control, storage, and staging; ensure safety programs and OSHA compliance; train associates on SOPs; resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoicing, and receiving reports; coordinate with other departments to maintain productive warehouse workflows; support maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and execute audits and reports; participate in performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
- Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
- Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
- Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons
