Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
Direct and oversee daily warehouse operations for the store, coordinating scheduling and activities of warehouse personnel (including warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators), ensure accurate shipping/receiving, inventory control, and staging; maintain safe, compliant warehouse practices, implement and monitor SOPs, drive maintenance and safety programs, resolve discrepancies in shipping/invoicing/receiving reports, and support cross-department collaboration to optimize throughput and cost-efficiency. Requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehousing or distribution, strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with Windows-based systems, and willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons. Location: Wichita, KS, USA. Role emphasizes leadership, operational discipline, and adherence to safety and process standards. Training and development emphasis for associates, with focus on constructing a productive labor climate and timely data/reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience preferred (in warehouse or distribution center)
- Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
- Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
- Strong computer skills, Windows-based systems
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines
- Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons
