Job Summary
Direct and oversee daily warehouse operations for store distribution including shipping/receiving, inventory control, and equipment maintenance; supervise warehouse personnel (specialists, order pickers, forklift operators) and coordinate with Receiving Supervisor on freight schedules; ensure safety, training, SOP compliance, and timely data entry; manage workflow, performance, and issue resolution to maintain productive, cost-efficient warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution center environment
- Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Competent in basic mathematical calculations
- Strong computer skills, Windows-based systems
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Availability to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons
