Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
Direct and oversee warehouse operations for the store network, scheduling warehouse personnel (including warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators) to ensure timely shipping and receiving, inventory control, and safe, compliant operations. Lead daily activities, maintain equipment and safety programs per OSHA regulations, train staff on SOPs, manage baton of performance through disciplinary processes, coordinate with other departments on paperwork flow and audits (Storage Buy, COP), and drive efficient warehousing practices across the distribution function. Also responsible for maintenance planning, discrepancy resolution, and ensuring accurate count and staging of products for inventory and audits. Requires supervisory experience, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extended hours during peak seasons.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
- Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
- Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
- Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons
