Job Summary
Coach and motivate the warehouse team while overseeing inventory accuracy, order picking, and product distribution at Scotiabank Arena. Ensure prompt service to internal customers by resolving discrepancies quickly and administering daily operations, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, and weekly inventories. Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and AGCO regulations while leading by example to uphold departmental professionalism. Assist the Food & Bev team in smooth event execution and participate in special projects as requested. Must be available for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, with a requirement to lift 25-50 lb items consistently.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays
- Intermediate to advanced skills using Excel, Word, and Inventory Control Software
- Trained in W.H.M.I.S., Smart Serve, and ServSafe, NFSTP or equivalent
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Ability to communicate, motivate, and lead effectively
- A proactive approach toward day-to-day activities and shifting demands
- An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction
- Must be able to lift large 25-50 lb items consistently throughout an 8-hour shift
- Must be able to stand and walk for a prolonged period of time during a shift
- Must be able to work in various work conditions, dealing with extreme heat or cold, indoors and outdoors
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Supervisory experience in a unionized and/or warehouse environment is preferred
