Warehouse Supervisor (Evening)

Job Summary
Oversee inbound distribution center receiving operations and supervise the inbound department players, directing workload and coordinating receiving coordinators and warehouse associates. Ensure safety standards and equipment readiness; enforce quality standards including food quality and DQPM guidelines; coach and develop warehouse staff; implement process improvements; monitor labor to control expenses; communicate policy changes; provide guidance on associate relations and employment law; manage backhaul scheduling in Mercury Gate and JD Edwards, including documenting appointments, loading closeouts, and reporting times; monitor rail releases and potential demurrage; ensure receiving appointments follow guidelines and schedules are generated for the next day; utilize WMS reporting for inventory accuracy, proper rotation, and location management; other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred; 3-5 years related experience in Engineered Labor Management or Warehouse Management; strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; JD Edwards; safety and process management; inventory control; leadership skills; ability to supervise 15-20 direct reports and ~80 total reports
