Job Summary
Direct and evaluate warehouse personnel daily to fulfill customer requirements by advising on item preservation, equipment use, and shipping procedures. Relay or delegate daily communication and reporting to customers while maintaining safety training schedules and compliance records. Manage operations costs, schedule staff hours to align with customer needs, and determine work procedures to improve efficiency. Examine work for conformance to policy, supervise housekeeping duties, and collaborate with the Site Manager on hiring, training, and disciplinary actions. Prepare work schedules, standardize procedures, and handle office reporting as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years related work and managerial experience
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Forklift certification
- Must be able to work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Distribution Center or Warehouse Management experience preferred
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
