Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse activities, plan and coordinate shipping operations, forecast staffing and supply needs, walk the warehouse to ensure conditions are maintained, identify safety hazards and correct them, develop and maintain relationships with warehouse team and supply chain, and train and coach associates to improve performance and productivity within a distribution center. Also perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support operational efficiency and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- working knowledge of government regulations regarding warehouse operations
- Strong leadership and engagement skills
- Experience implementing process improvements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
