Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping while managing a team of warehouse staff. Hire, train, and coach employees through ride-alongs, ensuring completion of all required training and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and optimize slotting assignments. Track performance metrics to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions for operational efficiency. Lead onboarding processes and support retention through positive engagement and development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently, be self-managed and motivated to meet deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse operations management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Previous forklift certification and experience
