Job Summary
Warehouse Supervisor responsible for assisting the Inventory Control Manager with warehouse order processing, order pulling/checking, and ensuring timely completion; will supervise and coordinate activities to maintain inventory accuracy, safety, and efficiency; requires lifting up to 60 pounds, forklift operation experience, leadership experience managing several staff, and the ability to work a varied schedule including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include preparing replenishment paperwork, communicating changes to branch personnel, serving as primary liaison between the Distribution Center and branch warehouse personnel, and ensuring accurate recording of inventory, receiving, and shipments in the company system. Must maintain a positive attitude, team morale, and customer satisfaction, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Pass all pre-employment, background check and drug testing
- Have good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with vendors, managers and coworkers
- Be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways
- Have previous experience operating warehouse equipment including sit down forklifts, standing forklifts, and standing order selectors
- Have previous leadership experience of at least 1 year
- Have previous management experience of 4 or more people
- Prepare, communicate, and expedite branch product replenishment paperwork receiving and shipments
- Compile and complete change processes that occur daily as part of the branch system
- Serves as the primary point of contact between the Chadwell Distribution Center and Chadwell Supply branch warehouse personnel
- Employee must strive to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product inventory, selection, checking, receiving and preparation of paperwork and documents in addition to communication with company personnel
- Employee must provide a positive attitude, morale and cooperative spirit with other Chadwell employees
- Supervise and assist with product selection and transfer product packaging and palletization to ensure order pulling and shipment efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure that all inventory, receiving, and shipments are accurately recorded and tracked in the Chadwell Supply computer operating system
- Employee is responsible to work with management on inventory, receiving and shipment process changes as needed
- Other duties as assigned
