Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee Wausau inbound operations including unloading, palletizing, receiving, put away, and order picking while directing the inbound team with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and throughput. Collaborate with logistics and plant supervisors to balance incoming demands with operational capability, develop work schedules, and coordinate outbound activities to leverage resources. Provide constant dock and warehouse floor leadership, participate in daily stand-ups, and coach employees to drive productivity and quality. Maintain inventory integrity using FIFA, ensure proper housekeeping, and train team members through job breakdowns and cross-training. Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives using 6S and Kaizen events. Support the behavior-based safety program and assist with administrative tasks including time and attendance and equipment inspections.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in warehouse packing or logistics operations
- Previous lead or supervisory experience leading teams of 20 or more hourly associates
- Strong safety mindset with proven experience enforcing safety protocols in receiving or warehouse operations
- Tier One WMS experience
- Experience in automated, fast-paced facilities
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong organization and accuracy capabilities
- Detail-oriented, and professional
Desired Qualifications
- Fabrication or manufacturing experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Tier One WMS experience; Blue Yonder experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Mathematical skills to perform basic functions and calculations
- Good communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
