Job Summary
Direct the hiring, termination, and daily performance of warehouse associates while overseeing receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, and controlled substance verification. Monitor workflow to improve productivity and efficiency, coach employees on role development, and ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, DEA regulations, and company policies. Manage attendance, track overtime, and maintain detailed records of inventory, shipments, and delivery manifests to guarantee timely customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations
- Minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience
- Ability to communicate effectively as a leader, both orally and in writing
- Good decision-making skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Good analytical skills
- Good leadership/coaching skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of computers to operate effectively with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with distribution center associates
- Foster teamwork
- Willingness to work extended hours
- Willingness to take part in weekend on-call rotation, as needed
- Willingness to participate in physical inventory if scheduled
- May require proficiency to operate a reach truck
