Job Summary
Supervise warehouse employees across shipping, receiving, loading/unloading trucks, stacking, picking, and packing finished goods while maintaining daily order accuracy and on-time processing. Coordinate storage space requirements with delivery schedules to optimize distribution center goals and reduce order turnaround time. Manage equipment maintenance, ensure a safe work environment, and investigate customer or internal inquiries regarding shipments to resolve problems. Select, develop, and evaluate subordinate staff while recommending procedural changes for increased efficiency. Requires a valid driver's license, defensive driving class completion, and adherence to strict motor vehicle reporting policies. Reports to a Manager with a focus on short-term operational targets.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of related experience
- management of two or more regular full-time employees
- bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 3-5 years experience in a warehouse or distribution area
- at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory position
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with personal computers
- Requires driving for company business
- valid driver's license
- proof of insurance
- no more than (2) minor moving traffic violations within a thirty-six (36) month period
- completion of a Safe Driving/Defensive Driving Class within two months of hire
- completion of a Safe Driving/Defensive Driving Class every three years thereafter
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- reside in the United States at the time of hire
Desired Qualifications

- Experience with personal computers is preferred
