Job Summary
Supervise all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, returns, loading/unloading trucks, and picking/packing finished goods and shop equipment. Maintain high productivity and ensure orders are processed accurately and on-time daily. Coordinate daily work efforts to reduce order turnaround time, identify space requirements, and suggest procedure changes for increased efficiency. Investigate customer and internal inquiries regarding shipments to assist with problem resolution. Manage subordinate employees, select and evaluate staff, and ensure a safe work environment through equipment maintenance. Requires valid driver's license, clean motor vehicle record, and completion of defensive driving class. Reports to a Manager with a base salary range of $61,800-$92,520 annually.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of related experience
- management of two or more regular full-time employees
- bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 3-5 years experience in a warehouse or distribution area
- at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory position
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with personal computers
- Requires driving for company business
- valid driver's license
- proof of insurance
- no more than (2) minor moving traffic violations within a thirty-six (36) month period
- completion of a Safe Driving/Defensive Driving Class within two months of hire
- completion of a Safe Driving/Defensive Driving Class every three years thereafter
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- reside in the United States at the time of hire
Desired Qualifications
