Job Summary
Lead and supervise the warehouse team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations; collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to maintain workflow, meet delivery targets, and drive continuous improvement; in the Manager’s absence, assume lead responsibilities. Responsibilities include overseeing daily warehouse operations (goods in/out, storage, inventory, order fulfilment), coordinating scheduling and resource allocation, monitoring KPIs (order accuracy, pick rate, inventory accuracy), ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, contributing to policy development, administering warehouse administration, proposing tool/equipment/layout improvements, training and developing staff, and using NetSuite, ServiceNow and other systems; strong IT literacy and experience with ERP/WMS systems are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehousing/logistics, supervisory or leadership role
- Strong IT literacy in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with ERP/WMS programs (e.g., NetSuite, ServiceNow) is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a pressured environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and service excellence
- Ability to lead and develop a team of warehouse operatives
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting; forklift training advantageous but not required
