Job Summary
Supervise warehouse employees and provide daily direction to ensure materials are received, stored, organized, counted, moved, and distributed accurately and efficiently. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while maintaining an organized, safe, and clean work environment. Conduct cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and assist with root-cause analysis for losses or gains. Work with production and shipping departments to ensure timely material delivery and support freight shipments. Maintain accurate inventory records using company systems and assist with training new employees. This role requires standing and lifting up to 50 pounds daily, with mandatory weekend hours and overtime availability. A forklift certification is required, and supervisory experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of warehouse experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified to operate a forklift or able to pass forklift certification
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must be available to work overtime as business needs require
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop for at least 12 hours/day
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Excellent attendance record and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, internal departments, and external vendors
