Job Summary
Oversee warehouse operations in West Seneca, supervise shipping and receiving staff, plan and manage workforce to meet daily demands and KPI targets, train and certify personnel, generate operational reports and KPI insights using Microsoft Office and WMS, ensure facility security and PPE compliance, monitor cold-chain integrity and pest control, and ensure compliance with OSHA and local food-handling regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 1-3 years experience in food distribution or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- WMS experience preferred
- Forklift operation certification required or to be certified
- Must be able to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and be PIT trainer capable
- Ability to train and certify employees; enforce PPE use; ensure OSHA and local regulations compliance
